Living in a street barrel, the rebellious philosopher Diogenes relentlessly mocked societal norms. He famously brought a plucked chicken to Plato, disrespected authority by urinating on insulters and dismissing Alexander the Great, and founded cosmopolitanism as a "citizen of the world."

Roman general and statesman, considered one of the greatest military commanders in history. Best known for defeating Hannibal at the Battle of Zama, which secured Rome's dominance over the Mediterranean.
